Badminton Coaching Programs

The Ballarat Badminton Association offer various coaching programs for kids of all ages and skill levels. Programs are designed to help children and teenagers develop hand eye coordination, fine motor skills, teamwork, athletic ability, reflexes, and stamina while learning more about the sport of badminton.

Coaching programs are available to toddlers as young as 3 years old, right up to young adults who are wanting to develop their skills to advanced levels. This is a fun way for children of all ages to develop those much-needed skills required for growth and development.

School Programs

Education facilities such as primary schools, secondary schools, and universities are invited to enquire about the BBA’s school badminton programs. The programs can be used as either after school sport or as part of the P.E. curriculum.

Camps and Clinics

Training camps and clinics are also run regally for students and athletes refine their skills for competing in badminton completions and tournaments. Training dates will vary throughout the year depending on availability of coaches and facilities. please check the website regally for further updates on upcoming camps and clinics.

Westvic Academy of Sport

In partnership with Cason Sports, Head Coach Ronda Cartor operates the WestVic Academy of Sport Badminton Program. The program is designed for advanced senior school and university students to take their badminton skills to the next level. Participants of the program have achieved selection for national and international competition such as BWF World Championships, commonwealth games, and the Olympics.
